Pre Dawn in the Palisades

1 year, 3 months

It's 4:00am in the High Sierra, my climbing partner and I were heading up the V-Notch to Polemonium Peak at 14,081' then to North Palisade at 14,249'. We got a later start due to some heavy weather the night before. In this shot, you can see a team of climbers heading up the U-Notch, which is direct to the right of the V-Notch. We are also standing on one of the last remaining glaciers in California. Our changing world always becomes extremely evident when on a glacier.
