Carriage path bridge @ Bubble Pond Panorama. Each of these structures were hand crafted by local stone masons between 1919 and 1931. John D. Rockefeller spear-headed the project and with the aide of Fred Olmsted and Grosvenor Atterbury accomplished an amazing feat for the period. Acadia National Park is what it is today thanks to these folks and the artisans who built these bridges.
