On Sunday, the day after my shoot of the first Peony blooms, the Sun decided to come out from beyond the clouds...this series was taken around 3 pm...there were clouds on the move, so the lighting was changing as I set up with the tripod. However, there were enough bright moments to have some success. I took these with my 100-400mm zoom. I photographed the White Peonies first and was not happy...I was forcing it. Then I noticed the Pink Peonies in the next bed...thought, what the heck. So I did
