Autumn Reflections

11 months, 2 weeks

One of my favorite images. There's nothing more quintessential to New England than the vibrant autumn colors that grace us every fall. I spotted this scene on the side of the highway one November afternoon and knew immediately I was looking at something special. Growing up in Connecticut, I never really considered my state to be one of natural beauty. But it's scenes like this that remind me that at the end of the day, there's nothing more special than your home.

Wow, talk about the "quintessential" autumn photo! The colors are simply beautiful and I love how the white houses act as the "pops" in this frame as they are so starkly different from the reds, oranges and yellows. I can practically smell the leaves in the breeze from across the cool, crisp water!
