...I looked back.

On the 3rd morning of the Kazakh winter migration, I looked back and saw Shokhan and the camels bringing up the rear. The sun was slowly rising in the Altai Mountains but we were in its shadow . The temperature must have been well below-30C. My thumb and forefinger were frozen as I tried to put enough pressure on the back button to focus and take the shot.
