Snow Monsters
1 year, 5 monthsHigh above the small town of Zao Onsen in the Japan alps I went for a hike amongst the snow monsters of Mount Jizo. The towering ice figures are the result of fierce winter snow storms hitting the Conifer tree's on mount Jizo and forming into large sculptors.
