During a stroll through my yard, I stopped to admire my Heuchera plant. I started thinking that the veins of the leaf were a roadmap for mites. That led me to yet another thought...what did it look like from a bug's perspective? Instead of sprawling on the ground, I decided to pluck said leaf for closer examination. The moment I saw white hairs along the stem, I just knew this leaf and I would spend some quality time together...photographically speaking.
