Colourful Pelican, Beady Eyes
1 year, 9 monthsUp close and personal with this adult brown pelican showing winter breeding colours. Brown pelicans stay more or less all brown until adult colours kick in at about three years of age. There seems to be more pelicans in my area than usual, some likely winter here. I'm really enjoying the colour changes.
