Tree offering

Ural Mari a small tribe living at the footsteps of Ural Mountains describe themselves as the last pagans in Europe. They pray for the natural forces, trees, mountains, sun. The ritual prayer in a sacred grove includes offerings to the trees that symbolize deities and the sacrifice of an animal. The ritual is lead by a pagan priest "kart" that could be recognized by special white clothes and tall white hat.
