The King of Beasts

For most of us, the only place we will see such a magnificent animal is in a zoo. The St. Louis Zoo in Missouri has a pair of lions. Their habitat is huge and open with only a low fence and moat. This big guy just woke from an afternoon nap. His partner is still sleeping at his side. Animals such as this one are a treasure to the earth. We should protect them and appreciate their beauty.
