Mesquite Brush

1 year, 10 months

The Brush Country of South Texas is full of Mesquite trees which are more like large bushes than trees. They have a multitude of long sharp thorns that can penetrate a leather work glove. At least the thorns are smooth and will release, unlike cactus spines that are barbed and are the devil to remove once you have been stuck.
