Every year Qatar hosts a Dhow festival with prizes in various categories. The siege by surrounding nations reduced the participants from some countries this year however it was still a well attended event. I enjoy seeing the old style equipment employed on these craft. A dusk visit gave some unusual mix of natural and artificial lighting as a trip returns to the dock.
