East African Oryx

1 year, 11 months

Having seen and photographed the Arabian Oryx in the UAE, I always wanted to see its African cousin. July 2017 was the date that I finally did get to see them and make some wonderful frames. These animals are the true survivors in the harshest of environments on this planet and are truly the ship of the desert. We were scouring the landscape of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy for game when from afar we spotted this guy grazing away, and as the sun rose to give the horizon a golden hue so did it pose.
