The most dangerous scorpion in the world has a nurotoxin in its venom (chlorotoxin) that is being used in the treatment many cancers. the venom is being bound to a florescent 'paint' that attaches to tumours to make them glow in real time, allowing the surgeon to easily identify it from the surrounding healthy tissue.
