Makli Necropolis near Thatta is one of largest funerary site of world, with area of about 10 sq km and about 500000 to 1 million graves. This graveyard is enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. These tombs are built between 14th to 18th century. Many royal personalities, sufi saints and other famous person of that era are buried here. These tombs are example of wonderful art work of Islamic era.
