Not A Bear Necessity

Most of the parks in Calgary are forested with trees and bushes! Because there are water sources too, the deer, Coyotes, bear and sometimes cougars can be seen in the parks! There the Bear proof waste bins are kept in the parks so that the animals, specially the bear won't be able to open the lids of the bins.Yesterday I was amused to see all the bins were painted in colourful flower patterns! I didn't know why so, but they certainly looked beautiful on the neatly mowed lawns in the park!
