On the outskirts of an abandoned beaver lodge a few fish swim among sticks, weeds and a plume of algae. The abrupt drop off created a pop of blue next to the yellow green of the algae. Combined with the reflections of the sticks on the surface, this underwater world made me think it was simply concept art for the next fantasy film, not the very real world beneath the surface of the popular Lake George in upstate New York.
