Until the year 2000 to see African American people in Chile was practically impossible, there was almost no immigration in the country, Chile was what had always been an island land with only Chileans. From that date until now the intercultural panorama has changed radically, with the arrival of Haitians, Colombians, Dominicans, Venezuelans and many more who are trying to make their their space in a country isolated from the rest of the world
