Galapagos hawk

2 years, 3 months

A sea lion had only recently given birth and the discarded placenta provided a meal for this Galapagos hawk. The exhausted mother sea lion was snoozing nearby with her new born baby. The Sally Lightfoot crabs nearby also seemed to be interested in feasting on the nearby blood. A bit gory - but it is real life nature!.
