Eye of the Pelican
7 years, 2 monthsThe shot was taken near the harbour in Sitia, Crete, Greece. There were two pelicans resident here, looked after and fed scraps by the local fisherman's association. Unfortunately they have not been seen for a couple of months. Pelicans are popular with the town people and were quite the tourist attraction.
