Broken Hearts

Love, companionship, comfort, smiles in the heart -is what pets give us. Anyone who lost a pet knows the sadness that is felt within the heart. That is why when I saw this neglected horse in a farmyard, there were so many questions in its eyes along with a deep sadness that communicated right to my heart -love not attended to. I would like to think that a handful of grass made a small difference to him. The lesson- we all need to learn more about how to love from our pets and animals.
