The chipmunks in northern Michigan are oddly friendly- and brave. This seems to be the place they reside when they aren't singing along with princesses in the forest. They don't seem to be phased by our presence. Hence why they have become our little critter friends. Set seeds in a feeder or in your belly button, they'll come right up! These little guys are brushed aside all the time, but when you take time to watch and listen, they are truly enchanting. It's amazing what patience will bring.
