Preparing for battle

Japan's Nada no Kenka Festival: the orange team prepares to carry their village 2 tons "yatai" (portable shrine) to Matsubata Hachiman Shrine where they'll receive a blessing. Later that day, they will "fight" with other six villages using their "yatai" as weapon and shield. Inside the shrine, four men play "taiko" at all times, even during the fight.
